Where to start?
Social Advocacy,
Community Empowerment and Building
Inspired by the Nigerian drive and society, the Social Advocacy Group works to educate, inform and provide resources on many issues of importance in our society. From standing up to sexual assault to how to protect ourselves from common diseases like malaria, the flu, and high blood pressure, if it's an issue the SACEB group is on it. Apart from advocating on these issues, the SACEB group is committed to finding sustainable community inspired solutions that make it easier for communities to battle these topics whether it's just talking about it or installing new systems to make living easier. The SACEB group is also flexible in its structure such that different topics are viewed in different seasons so we provide a range of interests that suits both members and the communities they work with.
How to get involved
Sanitation and Hygiene:
Even though the pandemic is thankfully receding, the communities will need to learn how to bounce back from a period of extreme sanitation and hygiene to a new normal. In sync with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, the Sanitation and Hygiene group seeks to help communities transition to become a sustainably cleaner society.
